Go and Try Antonio's in Old Taipa Village, its recently opened and is my new favourite and way better than Fernando's. Its much smaller and the Owner/Chef Antonio tries really hard to make your meal a fun and memorable occasion. It might be a little more expensive but the food and interior are more than worth it.....check out the website and see for yourself. www.antoniomacau.com

When you go to Macau, just make sure you don't go to Fernando's. We were there about two weeks ago and had the worst experience of our life time. First we have to have a taxi to take us there, which is about $100 H.K.D. Waited for an hour,(3:00 pm to 4:00 pm) for a table. The owner, I presume, was very rude and told us to get out of the way, while we were trying to give the name for a table. Waitresses were rude when you try to talk to them, or just walk away while you are talking to them. Food came out slow, took over an hour for our three orders. When we asked for more bread, the waitress said we cannot have any more, because it only comes with the meal. We told her that we are willing to pay for them, and she still said no. I follow to ask two more persons that work over there and both said no. I told the last person that internet is very powerful and their service is the lowest I have ever seen. I make sure he understands that I will post this when I come back to the United States. I think they have so much business because of the new casino being built that they don't care about their business.
At the bottom of the menu, it said in Chinese and I guess in Portuguese (but not in English) that "If you are not happy or satisfied with their service, please don't leave it inside you and take it home, but to inform them."
I hope everyone who reads this will not go to Fernando's. There are a lot of other Portuguese Restaurants in town, which is less expensive and closer in town.
